Synopsis
Celina decided to spend the last years of her life in a tiny Uruguayan village of 60 souls. She brought with herself form Argentina the ancient Mapuche art of carpet weaving. She wanted to teach her new neighbours and boost their meagre income and self-esteem. But Mara is her only student. The two women spend the long winter afternoons by a wood stove with distaff and loom in hand, weaving the threads of their memories.
